Top Indian shuttlers will continue their action in the BWF World Tour Asia leg this week with the Australian Open Badminton 2023, which is set to take place at the State Sports Centre in Sydney, Australia, starting from Tuesday (August 1).

The Australian Open Badminton will start with the qualification and first round matches on August 1 and August 2 followed by second round, quarterfinals, semifinal on the subsequent days with the final concluding the Super 500 series tournament on Sunday (August 6).

A total of 80 singles players and 101 doubles teams from across the globe, including as many as 11 singles players and 8 doubles pairs from India will be in action at the 30th edition of the event, which is set to take place over the next few days.

The Indian contingent will hope to land their third title at the event as PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand pair will be among the shuttlers representing India at the Australian Open Badminton 2023.
