Top Indian shuttlers will return to court in the Badminton Asia Championships 2024, which is set to be held at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Ningbo, China from Tuesday (April 9).

The 41st edition of Badminton Asia Championships will start with the qualification and first round matches on April 9 and April 10, followed by second round, quarterfinals, semifinal on subsequent days and conclude with the finals on Sunday (April 14).

A total of 80 singles players and 120 doubles teams from across the globe, including as many as 7 singles players and 9 doubles pairs from India will be in action in the tournament that was founded in 1962.

PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy, Kidambi Srikanth and Lakshya Sen will be among the singles shuttlers representing India at the Badminton Asia Championships 2024. The event will also see the likes of An Se Young, Tai Tzu Ying and Shi Yuqi among others in action.

One women's singles shuttler, Malvika Bansod, and one men's doubles team as well as two teams each in the women's doubles and mixed doubles category from the country will be in qualifiers action. If they top their respective groups, then they progress to the main draw.
