Badminton: India knocked out of Sudirman Cup

Dongguan (China), May 13: With their 1-4 loss to South Korea in Group 1D, India were knocked out of the World Mixed Team Badminton Championships for the Sudirman Cup at the Dongfeng Nissan Sports Center here on Wednesday.

Saina Nehwal was the lone winner for India in women's singles while her compatriots lost all matches in the other four categories.

Malaysia, which topped the group and beat India 3-2 on Monday, and South Korea qualified for the quarterfinals.
