The BWF World Championship is entering its business stage from Thursday (August 24). All of the five categories will be locking horns in their respective round matches today as we prepare for an enthralling day at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. The Round 3 or the pre-quarterfinal matches will be played today and the matches start at around 3:30 pm IST.
There will be many Indians also in action today. HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen will participate in men's singles, while Chirag Shetty and S. Rankireddy will team up for men's doubles match. After PV Sindhu's shocking exit in the 2nd Round, there is no Indian in the women's singles division, but Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly will be hoping to advance to the next stage in the women's doubles division.

It is a defeat for Lakshya Sen. The Indian shuttler has given a decent fight but loses the match 14-21, 21-16, 13-21. Vitidsarn has now booked his place in the quarter finals.
