BWF World Championships 2023: Indian Shuttlers Schedule, Results, Telecast & Live Streaming Info

Top Indian shuttlers, including former champion PV Sindhu, will be in action in the BWF World Championships 2023, starting from Monday (August 21) at the Royal Arena, Copenhagen, Denmark.

The BWF World Championships 2023 will start with the preliminary round matches on August 21, August 22 and August 23 followed by quarterfinals and semifinal in the subsequent days, and then conclude with the finals on Sunday (August 27).

BWF World Championships 2023 India Shuttlers Schedule and Results

A total of 112 singles players - 64 men & 48 women, and 138 doubles teams from across the globe, including as many as 4 singles players and 5 doubles teams from India will be in action at the 2023 BWF World Championships.

2019 champion Sindhu and 2021 silver medallist Kidambi Srikanth will spearhead the Indian singles challenge alongside the likes of Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy. The event will also see the likes of Victor Axelsen, Carolina Marina and Tai Tzu Ying among others in action.

Last year's bronze medallists Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, meanwhile, will lead the challenge in doubles as India hope to land a few more medals at the World Championships. In total, India has so far won 13 medals - 1 Gold, 4 Silvers and 8 bronze - in the marquee event.
