Some of Indian rising shuttlers will be in action in the North American leg of the 2024 BWF World Tour when they take the court for Canada Open 2024, which is scheduled to take place at the Markin-MacPhail Centre in Calgary, Canada, starting from Tuesday (July 2).
The Canada Open will start with the first round matches on July 2 and July 3 followed by the second round, quarterfinals, semifinal on the subsequent days from July 4 to July 6, and the badminton tournament will conclude with the finals on Sunday (July 7).

A total of 80 singles players and 92 doubles teams from across the globe, including as many as 6 singles players and 4 doubles pairs from India will compete at the BWF World Tour Super 500 event.
After defending champion Lakshya Sen's withdrawal, Priyanshu Rajawat, Anupama Upadhyaya, Ayush Shetty, Sankar Subramanian and Tanya Hemanth will be among the singles shuttlers representing India at the 54th edition of the Canada Open.

There will be no TV telecast in India from the qualification round till the second round, but fans can watch the action across courts on BWF's Official YouTube channel BWF TV.
From the quarter-final round on July 5, the action from the courts 1 and 2 will be telecast live in India via Sports 18-1 HD and Sports 18-3 SD channels, while the Canada Open 2024 live streaming will be available via the JioCinema app.
