Chetan, Saina to lead Indian charge at All England Series
New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) Chetan Anand and Saina Nehwal will spearhead India's challenge in the 200,000 dollar All England Super Series from March 6 to 11 at Birmingham.
A tough first round clash awaits Chetan as he will square off against world number three and third seed Chong Wei Lee of Malaysia.
Saina, meanwhile, has an easier task as she will be up against a qualifier, who is yet to be decided.
While Saina will be India's sole challenge in the women's event, men will be seen in action in the qualifiers as well with Nikhil Kanetkar taking on Denmark's Kasper Oedum and P Kashyap squaring off against Stefan Wojcikiewicz of Canada.
Anup Sridhar will be up against Ireland's Scott Evans in the qualifiers.
In the men's doubles competition, Rupesh Kumar and Sanave Thomas will lead the Indian challenge as they face off against the English pair of Andrew Ellis and Richard Eidestedt in the qualifiers.
In the women's doubles qualifiers, Shruti Kurian and Jwala Gutta will take on the Indonesian duo of Greysia Polli and Vita Marissa.
