Senior Indian shuttlers return to action this week as they aim to push for Paris Olympics spots when they compete in the French Open Badminton 2024, which is scheduled to be held from Tuesday (March 5) at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France.
The French Open, also known as French Open Super Series 750, that was founded in 1909 will be the 94th edition of the badminton tournament, and the sixth tournament in this year's BWF World Tour.

The French Open 2024 will start with the first round matches on March 5 and March 6 followed by second round, quarterfinals, semifinal on the subsequent days with the final taking place on Sunday (March 10).
A total of 64 singles players and 96 doubles teams from across the globe, including as many as 5 singles players and 2 doubles pairs from India will compete at the BWF Super 750 tournament.
PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth, Priyanshu Rajawat and HS Prannoy will be among the singles shuttlers representing India at the French Open 2024, while Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty, Dhruv Kapila-MR Arjun, Treesa Jolly-Gayathri Gopichand and Tanisha Crasto-Ashwini Ponnappa will be the Indian doubles pairs in action in Paris.
Viktor Axelsen, An Se Young, Satwik-Chirag, Chen Qingchen-ia Yifan, and Zheng Siwei-Huang Yaqiong will be the top seeds in their respective categories in the tournament. Here is a look at the French Open 2024 dates, Indian draw, results, telecast and live streaming information:
HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth and Priyanshu Rajawat will be in the men's singles competition, while former World Champion PV Sindhu plays on the 2024 BWF World Tour for the first time after gold medal success at the Badminton Asia Team Championships last month.
Satwiksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty will be the lone Indian pair in the men's doubles competition, but the duo will be the top seeds. In the women's competition, the two Indian pairs will face each other in the opener.
