Indian shuttlers will return to action as BWF World Tour resumes with the European Leg, starting with the German Open 2025, scheduled to take place at the Westenergie Sporthalle in Mulheim, Germany.
The German Open 2025, officially known as Yonnex German Open 2025, will be the fifth event of the 2025 BWF World Tour and the 66th edition of the tournament overall.

The BWF Super 300 event will start with the qualifying and first round matches on February 25 followed by second round, quarterfinals, semifinal on subsequent days, while the tournament set to conclude with the finals on Sunday (March 2).
A total of 80 singles players and 108 doubles teams from across the globe, including 4 singles and 4 doubles teams from India will be among the players in action in Mulheim during the week.
While the top Indian shuttlers give the event a miss, the former world number one Kidambi Srikanth will spearhead the country’s challenge at the German Open 2025 badminton competition.
The likes of Priyanshu Rajawat, Kiran George, Ayush Shetty, Anupama Upadhyaya, Anmol Kharb, Aakarshi Kashyap and Rakshitha Ramraj among others will also represent the country in men’s and women’s singles competition at the badminton tournament.
