India Open 2025: Top Indian shuttlers will continue their action in the BWF World Tour Super 750 event that will be played at KD Jadhav Indoor Hall in New Delhi, India from January 14-19.
The 3rd edition of the Yonex-Sunrise India Open, gets underway with the first round matches across five categories - men's and women's singles as well as men's, women's and mixed doubles, on Tuesday (January 14) and Wednesday (January 15).

The badminton tournament, which will be the second event on the BWF World Tour this year, will continue with the subsequent rounds, including the finals, from January 16 to 19.
This edition of the BWF World Tour Super 750 event will see host India getting 26 entries - Men's singles (5), Women's singles (5), Men's Doubles (2), Women's Doubles (10) and Mixed Doubles (4).
Lakshya Sen, PV Sindhu, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty will spearhead India's challenge in the tournament that will also see the likes of HS Prannoy, Malvika Bansod, Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand and Ashwini Ponnappa-Tanisha Crasto among others in action.
Apart from the largest-ever Indian contingent, top stars like Olympic champions Viktor Axelsen, An Se Young, and world No. 1 Shi Yuqi will the field this edition, promising a thrilling display of skill and precision.
This Super 750 event has been a flag-ship competition organized by the Badminton Association of India. The tournament, which was elevated as a Super 750 in 2023 is part of the BWF World Tour, offering participants a prize pool of USD 950,000 and 11,000 points for the champions.
