Jakarta, June 16: India's Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will take on Kang Min Hyuk and Seo Seung Jae of Korea in the Indonesia Open 2023 men's doubles semi-final at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta, Indonesia on Saturday (June 17).
The Asian Champions progressed to the semi-final after stunning home favourites and world number 1 pair of Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto in the quarterfinal on Friday (June 16).

The Indian pair eased past the top seeded Indonesian pair by straight games with a scoreline of 21-13, 21-13 in the men's doubles last 8 match that lasted for just 41 minutes on Court 1.
In the earlier rounds, Commonwealth Games champions, who were leading 21-12, 11-7, saw their French opponents Christo Popov and Toma Junior Popov retire due to injury before the pair eased past He Ji Ting and Zhou Hao Dong of China 21-17, 21-15 in the second round.
Kang-Seo, on the other hand, eased past Indonesia's Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin in the other quarter-final to reach semi-final. The Korean pair defeated the unseeded Indonesian opponents 21-14, 21-10 in the last eight match that lasted for 31 minutes on Court 2.
Earlier, the Korean pair fought hard to get past Chinese Taipei pair Lu Ching Yao and Yang Po Han by a score 15-21, 21-11, 21-12 before a straight forward 21-18, 21-14 win over third seeded Japanese pair of Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi in the second round.
Now, the Indian pair will face opponents they have met three times so far in the form of Kang Min Hyuk and Seo Seung Jae. The Indians hold a 2-1 edge over the Korean pair in the head-to-head battles.
