Top Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen will be in Indonesia Open 2024 quarter-final action against Denmark's Anders Antonsen on Friday (June 7) at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Paris Olympics-bound Sen eased past Japan's Kenta Nishimoto to seal the last eight spot on Thursday (June 6). The 22-year-old had to hardly break a sweat in a straight games 21-9, 21-15 win over Nishimoto in his pre-quarterfinal match that lasted 45 minutes.

Earlier in the men's singles first round, Sen had got past another Japanese shuttler in straight games. The youngster from Almora defeated Tsuneyama by a scoreline of 21-12, 21-17 in 40 minutes.
Fourth seed Antonsen, on the other hand, eased past Hong Kong's Lee Cheuk Yiu in straight games 21-14, 21-10 in the opening round before another straight games win over Thailand's Kantaphon Wanchaoren by a scoreline of 21-17, 21-11 in the second round.
