Top Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen will return to court in Japan Masters 2024, which starts with the qualification and opening round on Tuesday (November 12) at the Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium in Kumamoto, Japan.
The Japan Masters, which is a Super 500 tournament, starts with qualification and first round matches on November 12 and November 13 followed by second round, quarterfinals, semifinal on subsequent days with the finals set for Sunday (November 17).

A total of 80 singles players and 108 doubles teams from across the globe, including as many as 2 singles players and 1 doubles team from India will be in action at the second edition of the tournament.
Lakshya Sen and PV Sindhu will be among the singles shuttlers representing India at the Japan Masters 2024, while Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand will be the lone doubles pair in action at the Kumamoto Masters Japan Super 500 tournament.
Sindhu and Sen will be eager to regain form having struggled to deliver at their best since disappointing performances at the Paris Olympics. While Sindhu reached the quarterfinals at the Denmark Open Super 750, Sen suffered early exits at both Arctic Open Super 500 and Denmark Open.
