With this loss, the Indian pair ended the Group A campaign with three consecutive losses. The Thai pair managed a win but it was not enough to take them through.

Japanese top seeded pair of Misaki Matsutomo and Ayaka Takahashi topped the group with three wins, while Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek of the Netherlands claimed the second spot to enter the knock-outs.
