Kuala Lumpur, Jan 21: India's ace shuttler Saina Nehwal stormed into the second round of the Malaysia Open Super Series.

The Seventh seeded Indian thrashed Li Lian Yang 21-10, 21-12 in the first round of the tournament to set up a fight with Japan's Ai Goto.

Chetan Anand, also, advanced to the second round after defeating Malaysian Kwong Beng Chan 21-19, 21-16. He will be clashing against another Malaysian Wei Feng Chong for a spot in quarterfinals.
