Kidambi Srikanth has revived men's badminton in the country, with the women having dominated the sport over the past few years.

But Srikanth notched up many memorable wins to make 2017 an unforgettable year. The shuttler became the first Indian to notch up back-to-back Super Super Series title. But that's just the beginning.

Srikanth lifted the French Open title in October. And with this win the Indian lifted four Super Series title out of five superseries finals, after winning the Denmark Open, Indonesian Open and Australian Open.

That makes him the first Indian to win four super series titles in a calender year. With the French Open win Srikanth achieved a career-best ranking of World No. 3. The Indian then went on to play the Super Series final, but failed to cross the group stage.
