Northeast Badminton championship begins from Sept 30

Shillong, Sep 17 (UNI) The four-day 12th Northeast Badminton championship and North East Zone inter-state Badminton championship will be held here simultaneously from September 30.

Shuttlers from eight northeastern states will vie for trophies to come into limelight as such championships are held in all six zones of the country.

The winners from each zone will qualify to participate in the national inter-state championship both in junior and senior events, tournament organising committee president W Kharshing told reporters.
