India's top doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty set for early Indonesian challenge after being drawn in the same group as Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto during the Paris Olympics 2024 men's doubles draw on Monday (July 15).
The men's doubles group stage draw was originally planned for Friday (July 12) along with the other four categories - men's singles, women's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles - but was later postponed.

With the addition of French men's doubles pair Lucas Corvée and Ronan Labar, the draw was expanded for 17 pairs instead of the original 16, leaving one group with an additional team as Group D accomodated the extra team.

On Monday (July 15), Satwik and Chirag, the third seeds, were clubbed alongside the Indonesian duo as well as Frace's Lucas Corvee-Ronan Labar and German pair Mark Lamsfuss-Marvin Seidel in Group C of the men's doubles group stage.
In Group A, the top seeds Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang of China were draw along with England's Ben Lane-Sean Vendy, Canada's Adam Dong-Nyl Yakura and Malaysia's Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik.
Fourth seeds Kang Min-hyuk and Seo Seung-jae are in Group B with France's Christo Popov-Toma Junior Popov, Thailand's Supak Jomkoh-Kittinupong Kedren and Czechia's Ondrej Kral-Adam Mendrek.
In the expanded Group D, second seeds Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen of Denmark have been drawn alongside China's Liu Yu Chen-Ou Xuanyi, Chinese Taipei's Lee Yang-Wang Chi-Lin, Japan's Takuro Hoki-Yugo Kobayashi, and USA's Vinson Chiu-Joshua Yuan.
