Indian badminton legend and two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu married Venkata Datta Sai, a Hyderabad-based businessman and Executive Director at Posidex Technologies, in a grand ceremony held at the luxurious Raffles Udaipur Resort, Rajasthan, on December 22, 2024.
The intimate wedding ceremony was attended by close family and friends, along with distinguished guests, including Jodhpur's Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who shared the couple's first wedding photo on social media.

Sindhu looked radiant in a white gold and silver ensemble, while Sai complemented her in matching traditional attire. The celebrations began with pre-wedding festivities on December 20, featuring a sangeet, followed by haldi, pellikuthuru, and mehendi ceremonies.
The wedding itself, marked by Vedic chants and a touch of Rajasthani culture, took place at 11:20 pm. Approximately 150 select guests were in attendance, with Sindhu's family booking over 100 rooms to accommodate them.
The newlyweds are set to host a grand reception in Hyderabad on December 24, expected to see attendance from prominent figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
Venkata Datta Sai holds a Diploma and BBA in Accounting and Finance from FLAME University and a Master's in Data Science and Machine Learning from IIIT Bangalore. He is the son of GT Venkateshwar Rao, Managing Director of Posidex Technologies and a former Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer.
Sai has an impressive professional background, including managing the IPL team Delhi Capitals during his stint at JSW. He now serves as the Executive Director at Posidex Technologies and Managing Director of Sour Apple Asset Management.
Sindhu, India's only badminton world champion, recently ended a two-year title drought by clinching the Syed Modi International crown in Lucknow. She is now setting her sights on upcoming competitions, balancing her personal and professional milestones with grace.
