Saina crashes out of Asian Badminton C'ship

New Delhi, Apr 18: Saina Nehwal's campaign in the Women's Singles Badminton Asia Championships came to end as she lost to her Chinese opponent Xuerui Li, 17-21, 11-21 in the semi-final on Saturday, Apr 17.

Saina failed to match up to her opponent inspite of having the chance to outplay Li in the first game.

The match played at the Siri Fort Sports Complex lasted for 31-minute . Saina's lost to the unseeded Chinese marks an end to her campaign in the championship.

Li will play against fellow Chinese Xin Liu, who defeated second seed Zhou Mi of Hong Kong 21-15, 21-18 in the other semi-final.
