Just days after confirming their separation, Olympic medalist Saina Nehwal and her husband Parupalli Kashyap have hinted at reconciliation.
On Saturday, Saina shared a heartfelt photo on Instagram alongside Kashyap, set against a stunning backdrop of sea and mountains. Her caption read: "Sometimes distance teaches you the value of presence. Here we are-trying again."

The emotional post comes less than a month after Nehwal took to social media to announce their decision to part ways. At the time, she wrote:
"Life takes us in different directions sometimes. After much thought and consideration, Kashyap Parupalli and I have decided to part ways. We're choosing peace, growth, and healing for ourselves and each other. I am grateful for the memories and wish nothing but the best moving forward. Thank you for understanding and respecting our privacy during this time."
The badminton duo had been together for over six years and tied the knot in 2018. Their love story began at the Pullela Gopichand Academy in Hyderabad, where both honed their skills and rose through the ranks of Indian badminton.
Saina Nehwal remains one of India's most iconic sporting figures. The first Indian woman to reach the world No.1 ranking, she has a bronze medal from the 2012 London Olympics, and has been honored with the Arjuna Award (2009) and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna (2010) for her contributions to the sport.
Parupalli Kashyap has carved his own legacy, notably winning gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and bronze in 2010. He also became the first Indian male shuttler to reach the Olympic quarterfinals, achieving the milestone at the London 2012 Games.
While their journey recently appeared to take separate paths, the latest post suggests that the couple may be open to rekindling their relationship. Fans and followers have responded with encouragement, hoping that the two icons of Indian badminton can find peace and strength together once again.
