Saina starts CWG with glory, wins 1st single round

New Delhi, Oct 4: The brand ambassador of Commonwealth Games 2010, Saina Nehwal kept her glory with racket at hand as she won the first round singles badminton on Oct 4.

The top seed in womens' singles events, Saina defeated Kenya's Mercy Joseph in straight games 21-11, 21-4.

On the other side, Chetan Anand defeated Victor Odera Munga 21-7, 21-13 in the men's singles on the very starting day of Commonwealth Games on Oct 4.
