Saina wins single's title in Australian Open

Sydney, June 29: Top Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal drubbed Spain's Carolina Marin here Sunday to clinch the women's singles title of the Australian Badminton Open, her first Super Series title in over an year-and-a-half and the second crown of the year.

The Olympic bronze medalist, seeded sixth in the competition, came out with a splendid performance against the Spaniard to win the $750,000 championship.
