Sindhu goes down to Ying in final

PV Sindhu could not over Tai Tzu Ying in the Hong Kong Open final

Bengaluru, November 26: India's PV Sindhu fought hard but could not overcome world no 1 Tai Tzu Ying in the final of the Hong Kong Open Super Series on Sunday (November 26).

Sindhu went down 18-21, 18-21 to the Taiwan girl in an intense match. It was the second consecutive time Sindhu is getting defeated by Ying in the Hong Kong event final.

In the second game Sindhu and Ying went neck to neck till 13 but thereafter the Taiwnese lass broke away to take a 19-13 lead.

The fate of the match was well decided at that point itself but Sindhu tried to stage comeback into the match saving two match points.

But the effort came a bit too late as Ying won the match without much ado in the end.
