Bengaluru, November 24: P V Sindhu entered the semifinals of the Hong Kong Open Super Series with a fine win over Akane Yamaguchi on Friday (November 24).
Sindhu defeated Yamaguchi, world no 2 from Japan, in straight sets 21-12, 21-19.
The first was totally in control for Sindhu, who did not give her opponent much chances to dictate terms.

But in the second set, the two players fought neck and neck. However, the Indian showed more patience and skill at the crucial points to pocket the set and match.
