Bengaluru, November 25: PV Sindhu of India entered the final of the Hong Kong Open Super Series with a fighting win over Ratchanok Intanon on Saturday (November 25).
Sindhu defeated world number six from Thailand 21-17, 21-17 after a few tight moments.
In the final, Sindhu will face defending champion and top seed Tai Tzu Ying of Taiwan on Sunday (November 25).
Sindhu is the lone Indian survivor in the tournament after the exit of Saina Nehwal and HS Prannoy.
Sindhu has always struggled against Intanon but on this day she used her height to optimum effect to tame a tough opponent.
But in Ying, Sindhu has another difficult rival.
