Bengaluru, August 25: Lakshya Sen had a rare experience last Monday after he returned triumphant from Belgium Open badminton championship the day before.

One of the most prodigious students in Prakash Padukone Academy for last six years, the junior World number one revealed his unique experience of playing against his sir, the legendary Prakash Padukone for only five to seven minutes!

The 16-year old shuttle player, speaking from Bangalore over phone recently said, "It is not that Prakash sir played against me for the first time. While explaining about techniques and guiding the rectifications of our games in the concluded tournaments Prakash had sometimes entered onto the court and demonstrated us about the rectifications."

"But last Monday he called only me to stand in the court with my racket and then demonstrated a few shots to rectify myself."

"I was simply spellbound to have watched that how at the age of 62 years old, Prakash sir was maintaining such amazing accuracy in his shots. He was not making any movement."

"Standing on one place on the court he was instructing me to take position on the court as he would launch the placing shot or mini-smash or drop shots."

"After taking position I was being astonished to have watched that how amazingly his all the shots were landing with precision."

Lakshya Sen's next international engagement is Vietnam Open Grand Prix, scheduled to be held in the first week of next month. In a bid to make his preparation stronger Lakshya disclosed that after training he is often watching 'Ms Dhoni, The Untold Story'!

The wonder boy from Almorah uttered, "The rise of Mahendra Singh Dhoni through untiring hard work always inspires me. There is another reason behind watching the movie. That is Dhoni's impeccable temperament. I want to become a cold-blooded murderer of my opponent player on the court just like Dhoni."
