India's top singles stars PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen as well as doubles team of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand were on Sunday (December 1) crowned champions in the Syed Modi International 2024 badminton tournament, which was staged in Lucknow.

Two-time Olympic medallist Sindhu broke her long title drought by clinching the women's singles crown with a dominant victory over China's Wu Luo Yu in the final at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium.
