Born in Denmark on July 11, 1980, Mathias Boe emerged as one of the major figures in the badminton world. His remarkable career has seen him clinch gold at the 2015 European Games and win two European Championships titles in partnership with Carsten Mogensen, respectively in 2012 and 2017.

His crowning glory came at the London Olympics in 2012 where he claimed silver with Mogensen. Together they became an invincible pair winning events like the All-England Open in year 2011 and helping Denmark to become the Thomas Cup winner of 2016.
