World number 3 and top seeds Satwik-Chirag eased past Chinese Taipei pair Lu Ming-Che and Tang Kai-Wei in their first-ever meeting by straight games 21-11, 21-12 in the men's doubles semi-final match to book their spot in the summit clash.

Earlier, the Indian duo had breezed past the Malaysian duo of Junaidi Arif and Roy King Yap by straight games 21-7, 21-14 in the quarter-finals. The Olympics-bound pair had also defeated Xie Hao Nan-Zeng Wei Han of China and Malaysia's Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub & Tan Wee Kiong.

The Chinese duo of Chen and Liu, meanwhile, registered a hard-fought win over South Korean pair Kim Gi Jung and Kim Sa Rang by a scoreline of 21-19, 21-18 to book their first-ever meeting with Shetty and Rankireddy.

This will be the Chinese duo's first final appearance of the ongoing BWF World Tour 2024, while Satwik-Chirag, who won the Thailand Open title in 2019, will be playing their fourth final of the season.
