Jakarta, Jun 26: China's world No. 3 shuttler Wang Yihan defeated India's Saina Nehwal to win the Indonesian Open Super Series on Sunday, Jun 26.

Wang Yihan defeated Saina Nehwal in the finals 12-21, 23-21, 21-14.

The 21-year-old Saina started the game on a positive note and clinched the first set 21- 12 without much effort.

In the second set, Wang Yihan fought back brilliantly to take early leads. Even though, Saina tried harder and equaled the score 19-19, but she failed to continue the momentum and lost the set 21-23.

In the final set, Wang Yihan took early lead 4-1, but Saina opposed her to move further by equaling the score at 4-4. But, Wang Yihan continued her winning streak throughout the third set and went far forward with a lead of 19-12 and finished the set for 21-14.
