Double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu is set to marry Hyderabad-born Venkata Datta Sai, an Executive Director at Posidex Technologies, in a grand ceremony on December 22 in Udaipur.

Sindhu, who recently ended a trophy drought by winning the Syed Modi International title, is entering this new chapter amidst a busy professional schedule.

According to Sindhu's father, PV Ramana, the wedding preparations were finalised only a month ago due to her packed calendar. A reception will follow in Hyderabad on December 24, and Sindhu plans to resume training immediately for the upcoming badminton season.

Venkata Datta Sai, also from Hyderabad, holds an impressive academic and professional background. He graduated with a BBA in Finance and Economics from FLAME University in 2018 and later earned a Master's in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.

His LinkedIn profile highlights his experience with JSW, where he served as an in-house consultant and intern, learning the ropes of IPL management. "My BBA in finance pales in comparison to managing an IPL team, but it was a transformative experience," he wrote about his stint.

Currently, Venkata is the Managing Director of Sour Apple Asset Management and Executive Director at Posidex Technologies. His diverse professional journey and connection to the IPL have added intrigue to the union.
