The Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2026 will run from January 13 to 18, 2026 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. Earlier, the tournament was hosted at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex but starting 2026, it will be held inside the Main Arena.

The event, part of the BWF World Tour, offers up to 11,000 ranking points and a total prize fund of USD 950,000, while the move to the larger Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium signals an expansion in scale for India’s leading international badminton competition and is aimed at improving the in-arena atmosphere for spectators.

The Main Arena has a seating capacity of more than 8,000, which is over twice the size of the previous venue, allowing a greater number of supporters to watch the Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2026 live while also highlighting how the tournament’s profile has grown within the global badminton calendar.

Organised by the Badminton Association of India under the authority of the Badminton World Federation, the Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2026 retains its Super 750 status, meaning top international shuttlers gain crucial ranking points and substantial prize money, making the New Delhi event one of the more significant stops on the BWF World Tour.

The tournament is using a phased discount model to reward advance reservations, with the earliest ticketing window, which runs until the end of December, providing the largest percentage reductions across all competition days, including the knockout rounds, and subsequent stages in early January retaining discounted rates up to the finals.
