Galgo began his journey in Para athletics after being inspired by a friend. Despite suffering several shoulder dislocations since 2016, which first occurred while doing parkour, he has continued to excel. His dedication to the sport is evident in his achievements and his commitment to overcoming physical challenges.

Achievements and Recognition

Galgo's most memorable moments include winning silver in the T37 long jump at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo and securing gold in the same event at the 2023 World Championships in Paris, France. These accomplishments have earned him recognition both nationally and internationally.

In 2021, he received the Silver Olympia award as Best Para athlete of the Year in Argentina. His name was also included in the Paseo de los Olimpicos in Rosario, Argentina, in recognition of his performance at the 2020 Paralympic Games. Additionally, he was honoured with the Para Athlete of the Year Award in Santa Fe, Argentina, in 2019.

Outside of athletics, Galgo enjoys reading, cycling, creating 3D house models, and DJing. He speaks both English and Spanish fluently and holds a degree in Physical Education from the University of Gran Rosario in Argentina.
