29th Tillo Cup 2025 Set To Kick Off On February 7 In Odisha With IPL Stars In Action

The 29th edition of the Tillo Cup will be held from February 7 to 16 at the Hanuman Jew Mini Stadium in Tillo, Bhadrak, Odisha, as announced by the Tillo Athletic Association at a press event.

Dr. Manmath Roul, the advisor and Founder Secretary of the Tillo Athletic Association, along with Mr. Suresh Swain, Secretary of the Orissa Sports Journalist Association, revealed the tournament's trophy and launched a new anthem for the event during the press conference in Bhubaneswar.

TAA President Lucky Swain expressed excitement, stating, "We are excited to present the Tillo Cup trophy and our new anthem, which reflects the enthusiasm and spirit of the game. The tournament, scheduled from February 7 to 16, will showcase eight teams, including several prominent IPL players. Fans can look forward to thrilling, competitive action as we aim to elevate the tournament to new heights."

The event will feature a number of current and former IPL players, including Navdeep Saini, Mandeep Singh, and Anmolpreet Singh, among others.

The eight teams participating in the 29th Tillo Cup are:

1) Canara Bank, Bengaluru
2) Union Sporting, Odisha
3) JP Sports, Uttar Pradesh
4) Lightning Legends, Chandigarh
5) Indian Oil, Mumbai
6) SPJ Cargo, Delhi
7) Wonder Cements, Rajasthan
8) Sapience, Gurgaon

The teams have been divided into two groups: Group A consists of Canara Bank, Union Sporting, JP Sports, and Lightning Legends, while Group B includes Wonder Cement, SPJ Cargo, Indian Oil, and Sapience.

Group A matches will take place from February 7 to 10, followed by Group B matches from February 11 to 13. The group stage will lead into the semi-finals on February 14 and 15, with the final match set for Sunday, February 16.
