ACC chief denies poor response for Afro-Asian cricket series

Chennai, June 8 (UNI) Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Chief Executive Syed Ashraful Huq today dismissed reports of poor response for the ongoing Afro-Asian series.

When his reaction was sought on the sidelines of a seminar, organised by the ACC here, he said, ''We are not here for commercial purposes...We are here to promote unity and friendship between the nations of the two continents. Commitment and friendship is much more important to us than Dollar and Cents'', he added.
