New Delhi, June 2: Batting all-rounder and prominent member of the Under-19 World Cup winning team Shweta Sehrawat to lead a 14-member India 'A' squad at the upcoming ACC Emerging Women's Asia Cup 2023, scheduled to begin on June 12 in Hong Kong.
BCCI announced the emerging squad for the tournament on Friday (June 2). The squad also includes the likes of Shreyanka Patil, Parshavi Chopra, Kanika Ahuja and Titas Sadhu among others.

"The All India Women's Selection Committee on Friday announced the India 'A' (Emerging) squad for the upcoming ACC Emerging Women's Asia Cup 2023," BCCI said in a release.
The tournament will feature eight teams which are divided into two groups. India 'A' is a part of Group A which also features hosts Hong Kong, Thailand 'A' and Pakistan 'A', while Bangladesh 'A', Sri Lanka 'A', Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates are in Group B.
The top two teams from both groups at the end of the single round robin stage will progress to the next stage - knockout round, which includes the semifinals and the final. The semifinals will be played on June 19, while the final will be played on June 21.
All the matches including the knockout rounds will be played at the Mission Road Ground in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The group stage begins on June 12.

India 'A' will begin their campaign on June 13 against hosts Hong Kong at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground followed by matches against Thailand and Pakistan 'A' teams on June 15 and 17 respectively.

If India A top their group, they will face the runner up of Group B, but a runner up finish in Group A will mean the Indian eves will face the winner of Group B in the semifinals.
