Actor Khushi Mukherjee Claims Suryakumar Yadav Messaged Her in the Past - Watch

Actress and model Khushi Mukherjee has made a public claim involving India men's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, stating that the star batter had sent her messages frequently in the past. The remarks were made during a recent public appearance and have since drawn attention on social media.

Speaking to reporters at the event, Khushi said that Suryakumar used to message her often earlier but added that the two are no longer in touch. She was also asked whether she would consider dating a cricketer, a suggestion she dismissed outright.

Actor Khushi Mukherjee Claims Suryakumar Yadav Messaged Her in the Past India T20I Captain Yet to Respond

Khushi Mukherjee Kicks Off Storm With Comments

"I don't want to date any cricketer. There are so many cricketers after me. Suryakumar Yadav used to message me a lot," Khushi said. She further clarified that she does not want to be associated with any link-up rumours. "Now we don't talk much, and I don't even want to be associated. I don't like any link-ups involving me," she added.

As of now, Suryakumar Yadav has not responded publicly to these claims. Neither the cricketer nor his representatives have issued any statement addressing the remarks.

Suryakumar Focused on Cricketing Duties

The comments come at a time when Suryakumar Yadav remains firmly focused on his cricketing responsibilities. Recently, he and his wife Devisha Shetty visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, where they offered prayers on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi.

On the field, Suryakumar last featured in India's T20I series against South Africa, where he led the side to a 3-1 series victory. The 33-year-old is set to continue as India's T20I captain in the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand in January 2026, a key preparatory assignment ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

India will enter the tournament as defending champions, having lifted the title in 2024 after defeating South Africa in the final in Barbados.

With no response yet from Suryakumar, the matter remains a one-sided claim, while the Indian captain continues to prepare for a packed international calendar.
