
London, March 12: England all-rounder Ben Stokes will miss the Lord's Test against India as it clashes with his affray trail beginning in Bristol Crown Court from August 6.
India will take on England in the second Test at Lord's from August 9. Stokes at present is in New Zealand with the England ODI team. The trial is expected to last a week.

Stokes on Monday (March 12) had appeared via video link to confirm his identity and push his not-guilty plea as his preparation hearing started in Bristol.
Stokes had missed the Ashes after he was suspended following an altercation outside of a nightclub in Bristol after a Test match against the West Indies.
Stokes will undergo affray trial along with two other men - Ryan Ali and Ryan Hale. While stokes was given special permission to miss the trial and appear through video call, the court had ordered the other two parties that they must attend the court in person.
