Afghanistan vs South Africa Live Streaming: Afghanistan and South Africa will clash in their maiden bilateral series when they two sides meet in three ODIs, starting with the opener at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah on Wednesday (September 18).
Hasmatullah Shahidi’s Afghanistan will eye their first-ever win over South Africa in any format when they face Temba Bavuma’s almost new-look side. This will also be the third meeting between the two sides in the ODI format.

The two sides most recently met in the T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final, where South Africa absolutely dominated Afghanistan to ease to a win. In their previous two 50-over clashes, the Proteas have won both the matches in the 2019 and 2023 ODI World Cups.
As for team news, Afghanistan have been boosted by the return of their star spinner Rashid Khan, but will miss the services of opener Ibrahim Zadran, who has been a consistent run-getter for the team in the white ball. The Afghans will also be without spinner Mujeeb Rahman.
South Africa, on the other hand, will be without several big name players as David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje among others are rested. But they will welcome the return of pacer Lungi Ngidi.
The Proteas have also handed a maiden call up to all-rounder Andile Simelane, while spinner Nqaba Peter and all-rounder Jason Smith are also in line to make their ODIs debuts, having already played T20Is.
The Afghans head into the series opener on the back of a 2-0 win over Ireland in a three-match series earlier this year in March. South Africa play their first-ever 50-over game this year with their previous outing in the format ending in a 1-2 home series loss to India.
As the two sides clash in a ODI series for the first time, fans across the world will be eager to tune in for the action. So, here is a look at the Afghanistan vs South Africa Live Streaming and Telecast Info:
