Afridi has no plans to join ICL 'as of now'

Lahore, Aug 24 (UNI) Claiming that he was the first Pakistani cricketer to have been offered a ''huge package'' by Indian Cricket Leauge (ICL), explosive batsman Shahid Afridi has said he has no plans to join the unofficial league till he continues in the national team.

''When the doors of Pakistan cricket team slam on me, then only I will join the ICL. Because the administrators say that the players may enter into agreement with the ICL whenever they want,'' Afridi told reporters here.

The 27-year-old Pakistani all-rounder revealed, ''I was the first Pakistani player to whom an offer was made to play in the Indian league for a huge package but I declined it just to play for the national team.''
