Lahli (Haryana), Jan 6: With few hours left for Team India's selection for ICC World Cup 2015, Haryana paceman Mohit Sharma took a hat-trick with Virender Sehwag being one of the victims, against Delhi on the second day of their Ranji Trophy match here.

Delhi, who resumed at overnight score of 278/7 in 83 overs, were bowled out without adding a run as the last three wickets were taken by Mohit in successive balls in the opening over of the day at Chaudhry Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium.
Mohit first dismissed Sehwag (147), caught by wicketkeeper Nitin Saini and followed that with wickets of Parvinder Awana (0) caught by Joginder Sharma, and Navdeep Amarjeet Sainia (0) bowled.
Mohit took a hat-trick with the 3rd, 4th and 5th deliveries of the 84th over. The right-arm paceman finished with 4/46 in 16.5 overs.
With the selectors set to announce India's 15-man squad for the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, Mohit, who is in the initial 30-list, could now hope to make the final cut after this hat-trick feat.
