India's debutant Akash Deep Singh has made a dream start to his international career in the 4th Test against England.
The coveted pacer, who plays for Bengal, got his debut Test cap on Friday (February 23) and has showcased his potential with the ball.

He has already picked up three wickets and has dismantled the English top order, as the visitors are currently 112 for 5 at Lunch on Day 1. Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope - all fell victim to a superb spell by the pacer in the first session.
And as Akash Deep shines brightly for India, his Bengal team selector Subhomoy Das beams with pride and admiration for the 27-year-old.
Speaking to MyKhel in an exclusive chat, Subhomoy Das opened up on the Bengal player and says he is not surprised by Akash Deep's emergence.
"I was absolutely not surprised about Akash Deep playing for India. The pace at which he bowls is quite sublime and he has all the ingredients to be successful in international cricket. Akash Deep can become India's trump card in the coming days," Subhomoy Das said MyKhel in an exclusive chat.
"Bengal reached the Ranji Finals in the season in which he made debut, and he hasn't looked back since. He was bowling excellently for India A and everyone was very impressed, not just with his wicket-taking ability but his pace as well. I am very proud of him and I believe he will do better in near future," he added.
Apart from Akash Deep, there are Mukesh Kumar and Mohammed Shami also from Bengal who are part of the Indian Test team. Mukesh is part of the India squad for this England series while Shami is currently out with an ankle injury.
And the Bengal selector is also very proud of the holy trinity of Bengal pacers who are in the Indian Test team setup.
"We always had a good fast bowling attack. We should be thankful to Shami for showing that a Bengal bowler can dominate world cricket. Mukesh, Akash Deep - all of them are hard-working and complement each other. There is a huge competition in the Bengal team for pacers and that helps the players to realize that they are a couple of steps away from playing for India. I have seen all of them very closely and I am really proud of them," Das further said.
Das dreams that Mukesh and Aakash will spearhead the Indian bowling attack in coming days. There have been a radical change in Bengal cricket over the past few years and the young generation have benefitted from that.
But in case of Akash Deep, the determination and will to improve has played a huge part. And Subhomoy Das stresses the fact that the Indian pacer never stopped working on sharpening his tools.
"Akash Deep realized his talent and kept on working harder every day. I have seen him for last four years and he is a lot fitter and works even harder these days. He has kept his feet on the ground amid all the achievements. I have seen him following a process, which is important to become an elite player," the Bengal selector concluded.
