Akhay thrils Kotla as Delhi Daredevils take on Rajasthan Royals

New Delhi, Apr 19 (UNI) Bollowood star Akhay Kumar welcomed the 30,000 frenzied fans gathered at the Feroz Shah Kotla with a thrilling stunt as the Delhi Daredevils geared up to take on the Rajasthan Royals in the third match of the inaugural Indian Premier League (IPL) here today.

There were trick cyclists and gymnasts showing their skills too, but the crowd wanted to see their Bollywood star and Akki did not disappoint them. He displayed a breath taking stunt, leaping from over 75 m from the ground to one corner of the field to another to the amazement of the crowd.

The match between Delhi Daredevils and Rajasthan Royals was eagerly awaited by the people who were looking forward to seeing their favourite stars producing a thrilling contest.

The IPL has been a success so far with the grand inauguration that it received in Bangalore yesterday which was followed by Brendon Macculum's blitzkrieg knock.

The Kotla stadium will be hosting a match for the first time under brand new floodlights as Daredevils' and Rajasthan Royals' take on each other.
