New Delhi, Mar 31: Ahead of the West Indies and India clash in the World T20 semi-final in Mumbai on Thursday, Bollywood shenshah Amitabh Bachchan tweeted an image of the indomitable West Indies opener Chris Gayle who recently became a fan of Big B's hospitality.

The star Jamaican batsman was recently invited by Big B over dinner for which the former was highly impressed.

Gayle took to social media (Twitter and Instagram) to post his images with Amitabh Bachchan and thanked the veteran actor for his hospitality.

Earlier, West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle gifted his autographed bat to Amitabh Bachchan and revealed he loves Bollywood megastar's films and style.

Gayle took to Twitter to share his admiration for the 73-yea-old star.

"Proud to gift my Spartan bat to a legend @srbachchan, love his movies and his style, legend. Thanks @spartancricket," the flamboyant batsman wrote alongside the picture of Bachchan holding the bat.

Bachchan had said he is honoured to receive the gift from Gayle.
