The second season of Andhra Premier League - APL 2023, organized by the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), is scheduled to start with the league phase on August 16 and conclude with the final on August 27.
The T20 tounament will see the same six teams that competed last year in the inaugural edition battle again across 11 days at a single venue in Dr YS Rajashekar Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Reigning champions Coastal Riders will begin their title defence in a rematch from last season's final against Bezawada Tigers, while they will be joined by the likes of Uttarandhra Lions, Rayalaseema Kings, Vizag Warriors and Godavari Titans.
The six teams will face each other once in single round-robin format in the league phase with the top four on the points table advancing to APL 2023 playoffs.

The Andhra Premier League season 2 starts with the league stage on August 16 and continue with more league stage or single round robin matches till August 23. And after a rest day on August 24, the tournament will continue with the APL 2023 playoffs from August 25 to August 27.
Like the Indian Premier League, the APL 2023 Playoff will feature an Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2 and the final. Eliminator will see the third placed teams battling with the fourth placed team, while Qualifier 1 will see the top two teams collide.
In Qualifier 2, the winner of Eliminator will face the loser of the Qualifier 1 with the winner of the match entering the final, where they will face the winner of Qualifier 1.
The earliest start is at 10 AM followed by 12 PM, 3 PM and 5 PM. Whenever there is a 10 AM start the second match of the day will start at 3 PM, and similarly when there is a 12 PM start, the second match will start at 5 PM.
Andhra Premier League season 2 will be telecast live on Star Sports Network - Star Sports First (English) and Star Sports 1 Telugu SD & HD Channels, while the live streaming will be available via Fancode app or website for a tour pass that will cost Rs 69.
