The third season of Andhra Premier League - APL 2024, organized by the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), is scheduled to start with the league phase on June 30 and conclude with the final on July 13.

The T20 tournament will see the same six teams that competed in the previous two editions battle again across 11 days at a single venue in Dr YS Rajashekar Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Reigning champions Rayalaseema Kings will begin their title defence in a rematch from last season's final against runners up and inaugural season winners Coastal Riders on the opening day of the third season.

Rayalaseema Kings and Coastal Riders will be joined by the likes of Uttarandhra Lions, Bezawada Tigers, Vizag Warriors and Godavari Titans in the battle for the title this season.

The six teams will face each other once in single round-robin format in the league phase with the top four on the points table advancing to APL 2024 playoffs or the knockout round.

When does APL 2024 season start and end?

The Andhra Premier League season 3 starts with the league stage on June 30 and continue with more league stage or single round robin matches till July 9. And after a rest day on July 10, the tournament will continue with the APL 2024 playoffs from July 11 to July 13.

What is the format of APL Playoffs 2024?

Like the Indian Premier League, the APL 2024 Playoff will feature an Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2 and the final. Eliminator will see the third placed teams battling with the fourth placed team, while Qualifier 1 will see the top two teams collide.

In Qualifier 2, the winner of Eliminator will face the loser of the Qualifier 1 with the winner of the match entering the final, where they will face the winner of Qualifier 1.

What time do the matches start in APL 2024? (All Times in IST)

On double-header days, the first match starts at 2 PM IST followed by the second match at the standard start time of a game at 6:30 PM IST, which will also be the start time for the finals.
