The third edition of the Andhra Premier League – APL 2024 is all set to get under way on Sunday (June 30) at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

The 6-team tournament will continue in the same format as the previous editions, featuring a total of 19 matches, including the APL Playoffs. APL Season 3 will conclude with the final on July 13.

The Andhdra Premier League 2024 will see several stars that competed in the IPL as well as the local talents from Andhra and Visakhapatnam in action as six teams battle for the title.

While Nitish Kumar Reddy, who announced himself in IPL 2024 with Sunrisers Hyderabad, the all-rounder may miss part of the season due to injury. Nitish was the most expensive buy at the APL 2024 auction with Godavari Titans splashing Rs 15.6 Lakh for the Vizag star.

Apart from Nitish, the APL will see Indian wicketkeeper-batter KS Bharat and Ricky Bhui, who played for Delhi Capitals in the IPL earlier this season. The pair of them will also lead teams in the APL. Here is a look at the APL captains list:
