Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) appointed Andy Flower as their new head coach who will take charge of the proceedings from IPL 2024. The first-ever ICC Hall of Famer from Zimbabwe will succeed Sanjay Bangar and Mike Hesson who was the director of cricket at the RCB.
Flower is not a new face in the IPL. He is the first coach of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) which came into existence from the IPL 2022. Flower successfully guided the team to the playoffs stage during his 2-year stint at the franchise which has replaced him by Australia legend Justin Langer.

Andy Flower Family
The 55-year-old, who is now a British Citizen, met his wife Rebecca, who is English, when playing in England. They couple have three children together. His younger brother Grant Flower played alongside with him for Zimbabwe and was a very successful all-rounder. Last year, he was appointed as the batting coach of Sussex. He has also been part of the Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe coaching setups.
