Yograj Singh, the father was in news once again for his unfiltered comment, and Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun was at receiving end this time. The statement on the cricketing potentials of Arjun Tendulkar came on the same podcast in which Yograj slammed MS Dhoni once again, and accused him of destroying his son's international career.
On being asked about Sachin Tendulkar's future, the former India cricketer said that the 24-year-old has still not shown any improvement, and his potentials are still untapped.

"Aapne heera dekha hai koyle ki khan mein? Wo koyla hi hai. (Have you seen a diamond in a coal mine? He is coal only)," Yograj Singh said on the Switch YouTube channel when asked about Arjun, who trained under him.
"Nikalo patthar hi hai, kisi tarashgir ke haath me dalo to chamak ke duniya ko kohinoor ban jata hai (It is coal that is rock when taken out from a mine, but if it is given in proper hands, it goes on to become Kohinoor). It is priceless. But if that same diamond reaches a person who does not know its worth, he destroys it.
"I don't say it myself that Yograj Singh is a great carfter, Yuvraj Singh says it, 'there is magic in my dad's hand, he made me what I am.' Earlier, I ws abused 'Hitler, Dragon Singh, I hate my father'. Everybody hated me in my home. My relatives said, I should not have been a father," Yograj Singh added in his statement.
Arjun Tendulkar has played a total of 13 first-class matches till date, and scored 481 runs including a hundred on debut. The left-arm pacer also has 21 wickets to his name. Arjun also has 21 wickets for 15 List A matches, and 26 wickets in 26 T20 fixtures. The youngster has played five IPL matches for Mumbai Indian and picked three wickets in them.
